The Caribbean Court of Justice, based in Port of Spain, Trinidad, is the appellate court of last resort for several CARICOM member states. Jamaica has acceded to the CCJ's original jurisdiction (CARICOM trade and Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas matters) but not yet to its appellate jurisdiction. Confirm any attorney's current practising status via the General Legal Council's Practising Attorneys list at generallegalcouncil.org before retaining them or paying fees, and always agree fee arrangements in writing.
