Petrojam is Jamaica's only petroleum refinery, at 96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston, operated by Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica and PDVSA until recent restructuring. Refines and distributes petrol, diesel, and other petroleum products to the country's filling stations and commercial users. Jamaican-listed commercial entities are subject to oversight by the relevant regulator — the Bank of Jamaica for deposit-taking institutions, the Financial Services Commission for insurers, investment managers, and pensions, and the Office of Utilities Regulation for utilities.
