Young Fathers of Jamaica Initiative

WCJF + Gender Ministry

Rating: 4.5 / 5

A joint programme of the Ministry with responsibility for Gender and the Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation (WCJF), designed to break the cycle of absentee fatherhood by supporting young Jamaican men who become fathers in their teens or early twenties. The initiative runs mentorship, parenting-skills workshops, life-skills support, and referrals to the wider network of health, legal, and educational services. Complements the long-established WCJF Programme for Adolescent Mothers.
