Jamaica's senior women's national football team, the Reggae Girlz became the first English-speaking Caribbean side to qualify for a FIFA Women's World Cup when they reached France 2019, and then qualified again for Australia and New Zealand 2023, where they reached the knockout rounds. Administered by the Jamaica Football Federation and coached through various tenures with significant support from diaspora players in the USA, UK, and Canada, the team has become a national source of pride.
