Jamnesia Surf Club at Bull Bay, on the eastern edge of St. Andrew just outside Kingston, is Jamaica's founding surf school, run for years by the Wilmot family and the hub of the country's small but proud surf community. The club offers beginner lessons, board rental, a surf hostel, a bar with local and visiting musicians and the base for the island's annual surf competitions. Bull Bay gets a reasonable year-round swell and is the most reliable surf break close to the capital. An important stop for anyone interested in Jamaican surf culture.
