Negril Deep Blue is one of several Seven Mile Beach charter operations offering half, three-quarter and full-day deep-sea fishing trips into the offshore waters of the Cayman Trench, which starts just a few miles from the Negril coast. Standard trolling for blue marlin, sailfish, wahoo, mahi-mahi and yellowfin tuna is the core of the business. Tackle, bait, ice and drinks are included; boats are typically booked privately for groups of up to six, with beach pick-up from the Seven Mile strip.

About fishing in Jamaica

Jamaica's deep waters hold blue marlin, wahoo, sailfish, mahi-mahi, and tuna. The Port Antonio Marlin Tournament every October is one of the longest-running deep-sea events in the Caribbean. Charter boats run daily out of Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios, and Port Antonio. The Black River Safari in St. Elizabeth is the place for crocodile spotting and inland fishing. The fish markets at Old Harbour and Whitehouse sell the daily catch.
