Pushcart Restaurant

Street Food · Negril

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Pushcart is Rockhouse Hotel's playful take on Jamaican street food, perched on the Negril West End cliffs alongside the main Rockhouse Restaurant. The concept borrows from the island's roadside food-cart culture: small plates of jerk, pepper-shrimp, soup, roast yam, jelly coconut and festival served from themed stations, with a long cocktail list and clifftop sunset views. It's casual, fun and designed for grazing rather than a formal dinner — a good choice before a night out along West End Road. Dinner service from 6pm to 10pm.

About restaurants in Jamaica

Jamaican food is one of the most influential cuisines in the world — jerk, ackee and saltfish, curry goat, oxtail, escovitch, ital, festivals, and bammy. Scotchies in Montego Bay set the global standard for jerk; Boston Bay in Portland is where it was invented. Devon House in Kingston serves the world's best ice cream alongside legendary Norma's. Treasure Beach has Jakes and Jack Sprat. From cliff-edge Rockhouse in Negril to Houseboat Grill in Mobay, Jamaica's dining scene blends roadside perfection with world-class fine dining.
