Dunn's River Falls Climb

Iconic Falls · Ocho Rios

Rating: 4.8 / 5

Dunn's River Falls, just west of Ocho Rios in St. Ann, is Jamaica's single most famous natural attraction. The falls drop around 180 feet over 600 feet of terraced limestone steps that cascade straight into the Caribbean — one of very few rivers in the world that empty directly onto a beach. Visitors climb the falls in guided human chains, typically taking 60–90 minutes with stops for photos at the natural pools. The park, run by the Urban Development Corporation, includes a beach at the base, changing rooms and a craft market. Open daily from 8:30am, with busier periods on cruise-ship days.
