Reach Falls sits deep in the John Crow Mountains near Manchioneal on Portland's east coast, about an hour from Port Antonio on a winding rural road. The falls drop over a series of limestone tiers into a deep green pool where visitors swim, and guides lead trips up the river to the Underwater Cave — a tunnel you duck through beneath a cascade. A wooden boardwalk and changing rooms were added by the Urban Development Corporation. It is one of the least-visited major falls in Jamaica and consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful.
