Salt Marsh Beach
North Coast · Trelawny
Rating: 4.3 / 5
Salt Marsh is a tiny, little-known white-sand cove on the Trelawny coast between Falmouth and the Greenwood area of St. James. It sits on a calm, reef-protected stretch of shoreline with shallow, warm water and sand that runs soft underfoot. There are no facilities and no entry fees — just a quiet spot used mostly by locals and the occasional in-the-know visitor. The surrounding area is home to the mangrove wetlands for which the village is named, so you may see herons, egrets and other coastal birds as well.
