Dream Weekend

Festival Series · August · Negril

Rating: 4.6 / 5

Dream Weekend is a six-day festival series taking over Negril every Jamaican Independence weekend in early August. Dozens of parties, beach events, day fetes and all-night soca and dancehall sessions run across multiple Seven Mile Beach venues, drawing a largely Jamaican and diaspora crowd of twenty- and thirty-somethings. It is Negril's biggest annual takeover by some distance, and hotels along the beach routinely sell out months in advance. A bracelet system gives access to most events in the series.
