Widely regarded as the biggest reggae festival in the world, Reggae Sumfest takes over Catherine Hall in Montego Bay for roughly six nights every July. The festival rotates through sound-system nights, dancehall night, reggae night and the long main-stage nights that run until sunrise, with a cast list that regularly includes the biggest names in reggae, dancehall and increasingly Afrobeats and soca. It is the most important annual pilgrimage for reggae fans and a major economic event for the Mobay tourism industry. Tickets are sold by night and as weekend passes via the official site.
