Rebel Salute

Roots Reggae Festival · January

Rating: 4.7 / 5

Rebel Salute is a two-night roots and culture reggae festival held at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in St Ann every January and founded by the veteran artiste Tony Rebel. Unlike most large reggae shows it is strictly drug-free, meat-free and anti-weapon, and the line-up skews towards roots, conscious and cultural artistes rather than commercial dancehall. For many reggae purists it is the most authentic roots festival in Jamaica's calendar. Tickets are available via the official Rebel Salute website.
