Rating: 4.5 / 5

The Jamaica Music Awards, organised by the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA), are the country's principal annual recognition of achievement in reggae and dancehall. Categories cover artists, producers, engineers and associated industry roles, with winners drawn from nominations across the preceding year's output. The awards sit alongside JaRIA's wider programme of Reggae Month (February) events in Kingston and help anchor the local music industry calendar.
