J-FLAG (now formally operating as the Equality for All Foundation Jamaica) is the island's leading advocacy and support organisation for lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, and gay Jamaicans — including women. Services include confidential peer support, legal aid referrals, safe-space services, mental-health navigation, and research and advocacy on the decriminalisation of same-sex intimacy. Works with UN Women, international donors, and sympathetic Jamaican churches, lawyers, and academics.

About women in Jamaica

Jamaica's women's resources include the Bureau of Gender Affairs, Woman Inc., the Jamaica Women's Political Caucus, and a network of crisis shelters and helplines. Women's health clinics operate in every parish. Female entrepreneur networks and support groups meet regularly in Kingston, Mobay, and Mandeville. Domestic violence support is available 24/7 through Woman Inc. and the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).
