The Jamaica Household Workers Union organises and advocates for domestic and household workers — an overwhelmingly female workforce historically excluded from labour protections. JHWU campaigns on minimum wages for household workers, dispute resolution with employers, access to National Insurance Scheme contributions, training in children's rights, first aid, and eldercare, and the enforcement of the ILO Domestic Workers Convention (C189). Affiliated with the Jamaica Confederation of Trade Unions and the International Domestic Workers Federation.
